Q: Do you offer other products besides cupcakes?
A: We sure do! In addition to our regular-sized cupcakes, we offer a full-range of mini cupcakes, cupcake-cakes, round cakes (5-inch and 9-inch), sheet cakes (1/4 sheet, 1/2 sheet, full sheet), two-tier cakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, and banana bread. Just like our cupcakes, our cakes can be custom decorated according to your needs. You can see some photos under the "Custom Cupcakes & Cakes" tab.

Q: Can I purchase Sweet Ever After cupcakes, cakes and other products at the workshop?
A: Everything we bake in our workshop is by pre-order. We would be delighted to see you at our workshop for picking-up, placing orders or just saying hello. Please don't be disappointed if you can't purchase anything on the spot. Our workshop is not designed to be a retail shop.

Q: What is the minimum order?
A: The minimum order for our cupcakes is 1 dozen. During most Chinese and Western holidays, we offer holiday cupcake sets in boxes of 4. The minimum order for other products is as indicated under the relevant sections of the website.

Q: Do you provide candles? Do you provide plates & forks? Do you provide extra boxes?
A: Upon request, we provide complimentary stick candles that come 12 in a pack. "Happy Birthday" and "I Love You" candles are available for sale.
Upon request, we provide complimentary plates & forks. Please let us know how many you need.
We offer additional packaging (individual, 4-cupcake, and dozen cupcake boxes and bags) for sale.

Q: Where do you source your ingredients from?
A: We carefully source our ingredients from dependable local and overseas suppliers. We use only quality ingredients and many recognized brands like Taiko Sugar, Hershey’s Cocoa Powder, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Imported Chocolate from France, Imported Australian Butter, etc. Please see our "Ingredients" page for more information.

Q: How long can I keep the cupcakes and cakes before they will spoil?
A: Our products are best enjoyed on the same day they are prepared. Because we do not use any preservatives or additives, our baked goods do not have a long shelf life. All of our items are baked fresh the same day we deliver them to you. If you don’t finish them that day, they can be stored in the original packaging or an air-tight container for up to three days. But trust us, they taste best on the first day. Note that items with whipped cream should be stored in the refrigerator.

Q: Do you accept same-day orders?
A: Absolutely! We accept same-day orders for standard cupcakes received by 12 noon. The best way to reach us for same-day orders is by phone (6255-5512). Depending on how busy we are, orders in the downtown area can generally be delivered by 3 pm. For deliveries outside of the downtown area, we will do our best to get them to you when you need them. Custom cupcake orders and non-cupcake orders are requested at least 2 days in advance.

Q: Why do custom orders have to be placed at least four days in advance (2 days in advance for custom cake & cupcake favorites)?
A: To ensure that we have enough lead time to prepare the custom order, we request that orders be placed at least four days in advance.

Q: What are your opening hours?
A: We are open every weekday except for Tuesday from 9 am - 5 pm; and weekends from 9 am - 430 pm.

Q: How do I cancel an order?
A: Cancellations must be made via email to contact@sweeteverafter.com at least two days before delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations for same-day orders.

Q: Can you accommodate last-minute orders?
A: If you are really in a bind, give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Q: Can you accommodate weddings, events and parties?
A: Absolutely! We would love to help you celebrate important occasions and events of your life. For English, please email us at contact@sweeteverafter.com to discuss details. For Chinese, please call us at 6255-5512.

Q: Can you customize the appearance of your cupcakes, cakes and cookies?
A: Sure! We are happy to work with you to design the perfect cake or cupcakes for your needs. Please keep in mind that cake decorating is an art and not a science. Often with decorations, layout, colors and dimensions, we need to make subjective decisions. We reserve the right to retain some degree of artistic freedom in the design and decoration of our cupcake and cake creations. We hope you trust that we always try to make the final product the best that we can. If there is a very specific design, decoration or color that you want to have, please provide a picture that our bakers and decorators can reference. During the order process, please also communicate what you want to have replicated.

Q: What are the dimensions of your products and how many people do they serve?
A: Please see the table below. Note the serving recommendations are only estimates that depend on portion size. When ordering for adults, please refer to the lesser number of servings to make sure there is enough for everyone. Order on the safe side, it's always better to have extra than not enough!:

Q: Where are you located?
A: Our workshop is located in Puxi, near Jing An Temple, in the New Factories (14 YuYao Road, Building 20, Unit 104 / 余姚路14号同乐坊20号楼104室). The nearest cross street is HaiFang Road (海防路) .

Q: How much is the delivery charge?
A: For single delivery location, the delivery charge is RMB 20 in the downtown Puxi area and Lujiazui; and RMB 40 to areas including central Gubei, Century Park and Jinqiao. We offer limited delivery outside of the inner-ring road for RMB 60-120. Other common delivery areas incur the following delivery fees: Kangqiao (RMB 80), Shanghai American School Pudong/Pudong Airport (RMB 100), Hongqiao Airport (RMB 80), Shanghai American School Minhang (RMB 80). If you aren't sure about the delivery fee to your area, go ahead and place your order and we will get in touch with you. There may be and additional handling and delivery charge for 3D and large cakes (larger than 9-inches). For multiple delivery locations, please contact us for a price quote.
If we attempt a delivery during the designated time window and you are not there, another delivery will incur an additional delivery charge. If we make the delivery and you ask us to wait, we will try our best to accommodate you depending on the other scheduled deliveries during that time, in which case, we reserve the right to charge a "waiting fee" of RMB 50 for every 15 minutes.

Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: Yes! Plus, pick-ups don't incur the delivery charge. You are welcome to pick up at our workshop in Puxi, near Jing An Temple. The address is 14 YuYao road, Building 20, Unit 104 (余姚路14号同乐坊20号楼104室). Please include a note in the Special Instructions section of the order form.

Q: What are the payment options?
A: We require a 50% deposit for orders over RMB 1000. Payment options are as follows:
Option 1: Cash on Delivery
Option 2: Online Payment with International Credit Card via Paypal (you do not need an existing paypal account; Paypal Account Name: songnwong@gmail.com). Payment must be received by 5 pm the previous day.
Option 3: Online Payment with Alipay (支付宝 Account Name: songnwong@gmail.com). Payment must be received by 5 pm the previous day.
Option 4: Bank deposit to ICBC Bank Account (ICBC Account # 6222 0210 0101 6690 916 / Name: SONGNONGWONG / Branch: 淮海二支行). Payment must be received by 5 pm the previous day.

Q: Have the prices increased?
A: As of April 9, 2012, we have increased the price of our standard cupcakes from RMB 160/dozen to RMB 180/dozen. This is the first time since opening in 2008 that we have increased our prices. In the past 3 years, the average price of our top five ingredients has increased by nearly 60%. We are dedicated to using top-quality ingredients while maintaining a reasonable price for our customers. We hope you can understand our decision. We appreciate your support over the years and look forward to many more years of helping our customers celebrate important occasions of their lives.

Q: What is the Sweet Savings Sticker/Stamp?
A: This is our way to say "THANKS!" to our loyal customers who have supported us through the years. It is simple to use. Here is how it works:
- For every RMB 100 you spend (excluding delivery fee) you get a Sweet Ever After logo sticker/stamp attached to your order form.
- Each sticker/stamp is worth RMB 10 off of a future order.
- Welcome to use one or multiple stickers/stamps at a time.
- Please mention sticker/stamp at time of order.
- Present sticker/stamp attached to original order form at time of delivery or pick-up.

A: 单一送货地点：内环内、浦西市区及陆家嘴的送货费是20元；部分内环以外（中环内），包括古北中心、世纪公园、金桥、张江的送货费是40元。中环以外虹桥机场区域：80元，上海美国学校（浦西）、康桥：80元，上海美国学校（浦东）以及浦东机场：100元。其他地点以及多个送货地点请与我们联系。

Q: 我可以自己提货吗？
A: 当然！自己提货就不用付送货费了。我们欢迎您到我们余姚路的工作坊（余姚路14号 20号楼104室）提货。如果您想提货的话，请在订单上注明。

Q: 你们有几种付款方式？
A: 1000元以上的订单，我们需要收取50%的定金，付款方式如下：

A: 自2012年4月9日起我们的标准纸杯蛋糕的价格从160元/打上调至180元/打。这是我们自2008年开业以来的第一次的价格上调。在过去的三年里面，我们所使用的五种基本原料的价格均上涨了近60%。我们在提供给顾客合理价格的同时也专注于使用高品质的原料。我们希望您可以理解我们的决定。感谢这些年来您对我们的支持，我们由衷地期盼与您一同庆祝生活中每个重要的时刻！

Q: 什么是省钱贴纸 (Sweet Savings Sticker)？
A: 这是为这些年支持我们的忠实顾客们表达的谢意。它的使用方法很简单，方法如下：

- 一张贴纸可以在下一次的订单上折扣10元。
